Russian TV channel launched the All-Russian contest of modern videos in national languages "The country sounds" from July 1. This was reported by TASS in the press service of "Russian Media Group".
"The competition will be open to performers who refer in their creativity to the native language, national traditions and cultural heritage of the regions. The project is implemented within the framework of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and aims to popularize national languages through modern musical formats , - says the message.
The competition will be held in several stages. After receiving applications and selecting the best clips will be presented to the audience, and the winner of the vote will have the opportunity to rotate their video clip on the TV channel Ru.TV.
The press service noted that the project is intended to acquaint a wide audience with the musical traditions of the peoples of Russia and support artists who create modern music in national languages.
