The BRICS see growing interest in Russian culture

Interest in Russian culture in the BRICS countries is high and continues to grow, it could become a bridge between states of the union. This was stated by TASS, the president of the International Forum of the BRICS countries, Indian public figure Purnima Anand.

"Russia is not just a country, it is a great civilization. Russian traditions and culture are very deep and touch the hearts of people all over the world. India and Russia have very good relations and cultural ties. That is why Russian culture is very important for the BRICS countries, where interest in it is growing," said Anand.

According to her, "Indians love Russian culture very much, and in Russia they love Indian culture." Russian ballet, Russian songs and Russian literature are very famous in India. I know "Katyushu" and "Kalinku" personally. As far as Russian literature is concerned, from time to time we organize in India anniversary programs for Russian writers.
