The Russian Ministry of Culture and the "Roscongress" Foundation signed an agreement on strategic cooperation, the key goal of which will be the development of a healthy longevity culture, involving citizens in creative activities and promoting health-saving technologies through cultural and artistic tools. It was signed by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova and the director of the Foundation "Roscongress" Alexander Stuglev within the framework of the II forum "Russia and the world: trends of healthy longevity"
"Culture is not only the preservation of historical heritage, but also a vital resource for improving human quality of life. We are convinced that art and attachment to spiritual values are powerful factors of active longevity. The signed agreement opens new horizons for integration of health-saving technologies in the cultural agenda", - said Lyubimova in the press service.
The parties intend to pay special attention to support and scale up the regional movement "For Healthy Longevity Medicine". As noted in the press service, one of the key events within the agreement will be the annual forum "Russia and the world: healthy longevity trends", as well as a series of actions and field events in the Russian Federation entities, timed to the theme of cultural longevity.
Stuglev emphasized that the Roscongress Foundation acts as a communication platform, uniting the state, business and society for the solution of social problems. Healthy longevity is a national priority, and the regional movement "For Healthy Longevity" proves that demand for quality preventive medicine and healthy lifestyles is higher than ever. Our task is to make good health practices accessible and comprehensible to every Russian, using the enormous potential of Russian culture and attracting leading artists to promote the movement,' he concluded.
