MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. The state and development of languages of peoples of the Russian Federation will be analyzed on an annual basis. This follows from the government document that TASS read.
In Russia, the state and development of the languages of the country’s peoples will be monitored on an annual basis. Analysis in different entities of the Russian Federation is necessary to further improve the interaction of authorities with civil society institutions, as well as to enhance the role of speakers of national languages, follows from the document.
The Ministry of Education and the Federal Institute of Native Languages of the Russian Federation have been appointed as those responsible for monitoring, while the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Public Health, the Federal Agency for nationalities and Roskomnadzor are also co-executing the task.
Based on the results of this work, a report will be submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation annually by 1 April following the reporting period.
